Boost of Juice

A juice for Vitamin C, detoxification, and hydration.  Did you know Bell Peppers have more vitamin C than an orange?! YUP! And Vitamin C also helps to increase absorption with iron rich foods like spinach, lentils and animal based proteins. I've added parsley to boost detoxification in the liver and help to rid any excess particles my body does not need, but might need help excreting.  Apples give it a punch of slight sweetness, and the butter lettuce gives a luscious amount of juice from their leaves that hold an abundance of water.  Lettuce also has some folic acid and B vitamins for cell growth and development. Get your juice on for a healthy dose of concentrated micronutrients.  You're unlocking the suns harnessed powers within the plant cells to provide your body wonderful nutrition!

BOOST OF JUICE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Red Bell Peppers

  • 2 Apples

  • 2 Large Handfuls of Parsley

  • 1 Head Romaine or Butter Lettuce

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash all ingredients well.  Remove the stem and pit from the bell pepper.  

  2. Add to your juicer and serve over ice.

SERVES: 2, 16 oz.
